This notice is from the Delaware Division of Medicaid and Medical Assistance (DMMA). It's about how children's dental care will be handled starting Jan. 1, 2025.
Currently, Delaware Medicaid pays for children's dental care. Starting Jan. 1, 2025, this will be handled a little differently. The coverage will stay the same – your child will still get the dental care they need. But the way Medicaid pays for it will change.
DMMA is holding two online meetings (virtual forums) on Dec. 17, 2024, to explain this change. The meetings are to answer any questions families might have.
The meetings are at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. and you can register for either one to get the link to join. You can also email questions ahead of time.
Important: Your child's dental coverage won't change. These meetings are just to explain how the way Medicaid pays for it will change.
View the flyer from DMMA (PDF).
